Government Marketing Expert Stacey Piper
Stacey Piper, Founder & CEO

Stacey Piper brings a mastery of messaging and content strategy across non-profit/ association, B2B, and B2G sectors. She has 20+ years of experience positioning organizations to increase awareness, build reputation, grow membership, increase engagement, expand donor base, and boost volunteerism. She is an effective project manager who easily assembles and motivates teams to drive results. Stacey is highly communicative with a proven record of successful partnerships with both executives and technical experts. She is passionate about driving innovation and growth.

Stacey holds a BS in Marketing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Brain Injury Services, a nonprofit leader in developing community-based services for children, adults, and veterans who have experienced a brain injury. BIS has served residents of Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, and the surrounding counties since 1989.

Terri Beck
Director, Key Accounts & Strategy

Terri Beck brings decades of experience leading marketing and business development initiatives across the public (federal, state, and local governments, and higher education), non-profit and private sectors. She is passionate about providing strategic leadership and marketing programs that make an impact for organizations while providing world-class customer experiences. Terri is a leader and a team player who has proven success at developing strategic relationships across all levels of an organization and external partners. She is skilled at seeing the big picture with demonstrated ability to drive brand, vision, thought leadership, strategy, and results.

Terri has a BS in Education from the University of Virginia. Terri has served on numerous volunteer organizations throughout her career and is currently seeking a new volunteer opportunity.

Denise Willard
Director, Brand & Marketing Strategy

Denise brings a structured discipline to the creative elements of marketing and communications. For over 20 years, she has combined her skills to drive holistic, data-driven B2B and B2G marketing programs that meet or exceed client KPIs. Denise has worked with start-ups to large enterprises and everything in between. Her experience spans multiple industries; however, most of her career has been spent helping high-tech and systems integration firms. Her core strengths include executive discovery, marketing strategy, brand strategy & positioning, digital campaigns, content marketing, performance measurement, and program management.

Denise has an International Executive MBA from Georgetown University and a BS in Marketing and Management of Information Systems from the University of Virginia.

Line Storgaard-Conley
Director, Digital Marketing & Advertising

Line Storgaard-Conley is a results-oriented, award-winning integrated marketing strategist with more than 20 years of experience. She has a proven track record of delivering highly effective campaigns across digital channels, meeting, and exceeding campaign goals. Her expertise includes developing tailored, targeted campaigns—both organic and paid—on multiple platforms. As the digital and social media lead for an international healthcare non-profit organization, she directed the strategy and execution of digital advertising cause-marketing, awareness, and partnership campaigns. She is passionate about innovation and finding the right solutions for clients.

Line holds an MPA, Public Information Management, Interactive Communication, BS, Political Science, and Communications from Southern Illinois University and a Digital Marketing Certificate from Cornell University.

Shannon Edwards
Operations & Account Director

Shannon’s organization and attention to detail keep our team, internal processes, and our client’s projects running smoothly and efficiently. Her background in operations, human resources, marketing, and project management have supported small-mid size businesses, the public sector, healthcare and information technology industries. Her skill sets include marketing operations, talent branding, website and social media management, events, campaign implementation and maximizing marketing development funds (MDF) with technology companies and government contractors focused on the public sector.

Shannon has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing from Ferrum College. 

Kathy Nave
Director, Marketing Operations

Kathy is a hands-on digital marketing and website strategist with over 25 years of experience developing and implementing successful brand communications strategies, demand/lead generation programs, and customer acquisition tactics. She aims to improve customer experiences by using advanced journey mapping principles to create relatable engagement and content strategies. From small, B2C-centric companies to non-profit start-ups to established, B2B/B2G-matrixed organizations, she is dedicated to producing tangible business results.

Kathy is a graduate of Boston University's College of Communications with a BS in Mass Communications and Public Relations.

Ashley Hunter
Marketing Campaign Manager

Ashley is a marketing specialist with over 10 years of experience. She has worked in various industries including country clubs, private- and public-sectors, health & fitness, education, insurance and public relations. Her diverse background has made her easily adapt to client needs and requirements. She works with all lines of marketing including social media, web, digital, print, promotional items, conference exhibits, and proposal support. She has led many teams through successful projects and loves learning about new industries and meeting new clients.

Ashley has a BS in Business Administration & Marketing from Susquehanna University.

Carolyn Wixson McBride
Copywriter & Storyteller

Carolyn is a versatile technology writer with a passion for helping companies tell their stories through ghostwriting, blogging, and content development. She is well versed at transforming complex technical topics into compelling content to foster client engagement, end user adoption, and search engine optimization. She brings a diversity of experience, with roles as a writer and editor for leading magazines at National Geographic to communications and marketing for government contracting, and digital workplace and collaboration leadership in manufacturing and biotech.

Carolyn holds a BA in English from the College of William and Mary.

Nicole Quenelle
Creative Content Consultant

Nicole is a highly creative freelance communications and arts professional with more than 10 years of experience serving clients in myriad fields across the arts and sciences. Her creative skills are broad and include writing, graphic design, and creative production (e.g. video and multimedia projects).Nicole’s broad skill set makes her adept at addressing communication challenges and goals with well-executed solutions that draw from her love of smart writing, great design, and engaging storytelling.

Nicole has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MFA-equivalent in physical theater from a private conservatory in Florence, Italy.

Nicholas K.
Chief Digital Consultant

Nick is a digital strategy freelancer. He helps companies achieve their marketing goals with a focus on digital marketing and engagement. His areas of expertise include website design, SEO and digital audits, marketing strategy, and content marketing. Nick spent a dozen years in professional services marketing and business development with particular experience working for major law and lobbying firms. Prior to that, he was in publishing for a dozen years.

Nick has an MBA from the College of William & Mary and a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Virginia.

Christine Slingerman
Editor

Chris brings over 30 years of award-winning experience as a copywriter to clients’ marketing and communications challenges. Her social marketing background enables her to apply behavior change best practices to creating messaging that is truly effective. She provides concepting, copywriting, and editing across all media, including video, web, digital, social media, print, collateral, and exhibits. Her experience spans private- and public-sector clients, from high tech, banking, real estate, hospitality and air travel industries to energy efficiency, substance abuse, mental health and disease prevention social issues.

She has a BA in Mass Communications/Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

 

Abol B.
UX/UI Design Consultant

Abol is an award-winning UX/UI graphic design freelancer with 30 years of experience in tech start-up, large corporate in-house, PR agency environments, and cutting-edge information services companies. His range of expertise includes creative concept development and execution across all media channels. Abol applies his deep understanding of effective design to marketing and communications solutions, while relying on cutting-edge best practices. He applies UX principles and imaginative graphic solutions for usability of the rapidly expanding technology.

Abol’s core capabilities include brand identity conceptualization; multichannel graphic design; web, digital, and application design; and user experience and interface design.
